The Naadam Festival is the "Olympics of the Nomads"—a vibrant explosion of archery, wrestling, and horse racing. This exclusive 7-day journey is designed to give you VIP access to the festivities in Ulaanbaatar before escaping the crowds to capture the raw beauty of the Gobi Desert.
Day 1 (July 9): Arrival in the Capital Welcome to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to our boutique hotel followed by a technical briefing on festival photography and nomadic etiquette.
Day 2 (July 10): The Eve of Naadam & Deeltei Mongol We witness the "Deeltei Mongol" parade at Sukhbaatar Square. Thousands of locals gather in their finest traditional silk costumes—the ultimate day for portrait photography.
Day 3 (July 11): The Grand Opening Ceremony VIP access to the National Stadium. Experience the spectacular opening ceremony followed by the first rounds of Wrestling and Archery. We focus on capturing the power and focus of the athletes.
Day 4 (July 12): The Thunder of Hooves (Hui Doloon Khudag) We drive to the racing plains to witness the legendary cross-country horse races. Hundreds of horses galloping across the steppe create a dust-filled spectacle like no other. Afternoon transfer to Hustai National Park to see the wild Takhi horses.
Day 5 (July 13): The Painted Cliffs of White Stupa Driving south to the gates of the Gobi. We reach Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), an ancient limestone sea floor. We will stay until the "Blue Hour" to capture the glowing white cliffs.
Day 6 (July 14): The Granite Labyrinth (Baga Gazriin Chuluu) Exploration of the dramatic granite rock formations and hidden monastery ruins. Our final celebratory dinner under the stars of the Gobi.
Day 7 (July 15): Return to Ulaanbaatar A scenic drive back to the capital. Arrival by 16:00 for final reflections and farewells.
