Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nomadfollows, we organize boutique and highly specialized expeditions. Because our tours involve significant pre-trip logistics, permits, and equipment preparation, we apply the following refund policy:

1. Deposit Policy

  • The 20% booking deposit is non-refundable. This deposit covers administrative costs, government permits, and secures your spot with our local partners.

  • If you cannot join the tour, your deposit may be transferred to a future tour date within 12 months, provided you notify us at least 30 days before the original start date.

2. Final Payment

  • The remaining 80% balance is due in cash (USD) upon arrival in Mongolia. Once this payment is made at the start of the tour, it is non-refundable regardless of early departure or unused services.

3. Guest Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: Deposit is held for future credit.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure: The deposit is forfeited.

4. Operator Cancellations

  • If Nomadfollows is forced to cancel a tour due to unforeseen internal reasons, you will receive a 100% refund of your deposit.

  • We are not responsible for any personal expenses incurred by the guest, such as international airfare or visa fees.

5. Force Majeure

  • In the event of "Force Majeure" (natural disasters, pandemics, political instability), we will work with you to reschedule your trip. Refunds in these cases are subject to the recovery of funds from our local suppliers.
