Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Murun & Journey to Lake Khuvsgul

  • Domestic flight from Ulaanbaatar to Murun city.

  • Flights & Transport: Round-trip domestic flights (Ulaanbaatar – Murun – Ulaanbaatar) and all ground transportation in rugged 4x4 vehicles.

  • Horse Logistics: Professional horse rental for the trek into the deep Taiga, including pack animals for gear and local horse guides.

  • Boutique Stays: A mix of lakeside Ger camps at Khuvsgul , local hotels in Murun , and high-quality "Glamping" setups (Ortz or tents) within the Reindeer Herder camps.

  • Full Culinary Service: All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and fresh drinking water throughout the entire 8-day journey.

Important Notes for Clients

  • Exclusions: International airfare, travel insurance, personal gear (sleeping bags etc., though these can be rented), and alcoholic beverages.

  • The "Nomadfollows" Touch: Unlike standard tours, we bring portable shower and toilet facilities even to the deep Taiga to ensure a level of comfort that respects the environment while providing for our guests.

  • Payment Structure: Secure your expedition with a 20% deposit. The remaining 80% balance is due in cash upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar.
